About Hilary Strom

Hilary (Catron) Strom currently holds a 5th degree (Master) ranking in the Universal Taekwondo Association. After spending three-years on the side-lines watching her brother, Michael Catron, train and compete, she decided to begin Taekwondo. She has been active in Taekwondo for over 14 years and has competed in several local, regional, and national tournaments. She and has medaled in the Junior Olympics and USSSA National Qualifier. Hilary was the first female in over 10 years to win the Grand Champion Forms competition at the 2005 Hastings Regional Invitational Tournament. In addition to teaching Taekwondo, Ms. Strom is also currently studying Hapkido to further expand her marital arts abilities and experience.

Ms. Strom is an active member of the Heartland Martial Arts League and is a co-director of the Cornhusker State Games Taekwondo competition along with her brother and co-instructor, Michael Catron.

Ms. Strom currently lives in Lincoln, Nebraska where she working on her Ph.D. in Nutritional Science and Dietetics at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. She also is a member of the Boy Scouts of America National Camp School’s COPE/Climbing staff.
